We are often asked how many people the hire boats can accomodate while waterskiing, wakeboarding, tubing or kneeboarding.

The standard answer is that the Bow Rider can take 6 adults and the Centre Cab can take 7 adults.

The longer answer revolves around our recommendation to use one the beaches as a base and operate from there.

Our favourite beach in Middle Harbour, indeed anywhere on Sydney Harbour, to use as a watersports base is Flat Rock Beach.

Flat Rock Beach sits on the left hand side as you go from Killarney Point towards Bantry Bay. Just 5 minutes from Roseville Boat ramp and right on the best bit of the harbour for watersports.

It has a sandy beach and is almost always sheltered from wind and waves so bringing boats in for pickup and drop off is simple and stress free.

The best part is that you can grab the hire boat from us at Roseville Ramp and take your bulky and heavy gear around to the beach on the boat, while telling your wider crew to meet you at the beach as they can park at the very end of Killarney Drive and walk down a short bush path to the beach.

This way you can have a few people on the boat and rotate drivers, skiers, tuber and boarders off the beach all day. Instead of 6 or 7 people enjoying your boat for the day, you an have 6 or 7 families hanging out on the beach and enjoying the endless watersports.
