Sydney has some fantastic boat ramps – we are putting together some short video overviews of them
We often see posts in online boating and fishing forums asking about ‘the best ramp near X‘ or ‘has the ramp at Y got much parking‘.
We spend a lot of time at a variety of ramps launching our hire boats, delivering boat licence courses or boat handling refresher courses so we decided to put a short video overview together when we get a few spare minutes at each ramp kaletra precio.
We try to cover things like parking, ramps, jetties, washdowns, fish cleaning tables, toilets, nearby cafes and anything else that springs to mind.
These are a bit like a Facebook live videos – raw and unedited.
You won’t get funky background music or gentle blurry video fades – but look on the bright side, you dont have to look at our faces either!
Please message us here if there is a particular ramp you would like to have overviewed here.
First up is good old Bayview Ramp in Rowlands Reserve behind Mona Vale – a great boat ramp to access Pittawater and the lower Hawkesbury:
Next up is peaceful Akuna Bay up in the Ku-ring-gai National Park behind Terry Hills. A great boat ramp to access Cowan Creek, the lower Hawkesbury and even Pittwater:
